(b). Disconnect the connector A45 of the rear
washer motor .
(c). Measure the resistance with the multimeter
on the resistance range.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

A45(1)-Grounding ＜ 2Ω
Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 4.
No >Repair or replace the harness.

4. Check the harness and the connector (rear washer motor-combination
switch(wiper))

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Disconnect the connector C21 of the
combination switch (wiper).
(c). Disconnect the rear washer motor connector
A45.
(d). Measure the resistance between the
No.2 pin of A45 and the No.3 pin of C21
with the multimeter on the resistance
range.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

A45 (2)–C21(3) ＜ 2Ω
Is the result normal?
Yes>To step5.
No >Repair or replace the harness relating to the connection.
