REMOVAL AND INSTALLTING

1. Remove the high-pressure fuel pump bracket
Warning：
Before removal, the fuel pressure must be released; otherwise personal injuries may be
caused.
NOTICE：
After the fuel pipeline is removed, wrap it using the plastic bag to avoid entry of foreign
matters into the fuel pipeline.

(a). Remove the low pressure fuel pipe
subassembly (for the longitudinal engine).
•Loosen the low pressure fuel pipe
subassembly connecting nut ① .
1 •Remove the low pressure fuel pipe
2 subassembly fixing screw ② and the low
pressure fuel pipe subassembly.

(b). Remove the low pressure fuel pipe
subassembly (for the horizontal engine).
•Loosen the low pressure fuel pipe
subassembly connecting nut ① .
•Remove these 2 low pressure fuel
pipe subassembly fixing screws (arrow
1 direction) and the low pressure fuel pipe
subassembly.

(c). Remove the high-pressure fuel pipe
subassembly.
•Loosen these 2 high-pressure fuel
pipe subassembly fixing nuts (arrow
direction) and the high-pressure fuel pipe
subassembly.
