(m). Screw out the transmission upper fixing
bolt.
DANGER:
Before operation, do support the transmission
using the jack, and take necessary protection
measures.

(n). Screw out the transmission lower fixing
bolt, disconnect the transmission from the
engine, and carefully take down the
transmission assembly.
DANGER:
Before operation, do support the transmission
using the jack, and take necessary protection
measures.

7. Refit the transmission assembly 21B
(a). Raise the transmission assembly using
the jack, and put the transmission at the
mounting position.
DANGER:
•Do take necessary protection measures when
supporting the transmission with the jack.
•Keep the transmission level as much as possible
to facilitate the installation.
fuwx21B016 (b). Refit these 4 fixing bolts of the hydraulic
torque converter.
NOTICE:
•Before removal, rotate the crankshaft pulley and
keep each bolt in the holes as shown in the left
figure.
•Do take much care at refitting, and prevent the
bolt from falling into the flywheel housing.
