(f). Locate the transmission at “P” gear and
use the special tool to tighten the locking
nut.
Torque:60 N•m

(g). Use a tool to hammer on the nut groove.
NOTICE:
After the groove of locking nut is locked, visually
check the nut, and there shall be no crack.

(h). The distance from the groove depression 21B
after the nut is locked shall not exceed
25.7mm.

5. Refit the hydraulic torque converter (refer to “Chapter 21B Transmission -
Replacement, hydraulic torque converter”.
6. Refit the transmission assembly (refer to “Chapter 21B Transmission -
Replacement, transmission assembly”).
