TRANSMISSION - OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 21B-33
REPLACEMENT

1. Park the vehicle, shut down the engine, and apply the parking brake.
2. Remove the front bumper (refer to “Chapter 56 Interior/exterior- Replacement,
front bumper assembly”).
3. Remove the left horn (refer to “Chapter 48 Horn and cigarette lighter -
Replacement, horn” ).

4. Screw out the transmission bottom drain
plug and discharge the transmission
lubricating oil.
NOTICE:
•Before discharge, make sure that the vent plug is
unobstructed.
•When discharging the transmission lubricating
oil, use a dedicated vessel to receive the
transmission lubricating oil, and dispose it as
required.

•After the transmission lubricating oil is
discharged, refit the drain plug, and avoid
forgetting this.
Torque:12 N•m

5. Remove the oil cooler
(a). Loosen the oil cooler inlet hose and return
hose hoops, and pull out the inlet hose and
return hose.

(b). Remove the these 3 fixing bolts of the oil
cooler, and take down the oil cooler
assembly.
