3. Check the harness disconnection

(a). Disconnect left front step lamp connector J06, body controller C56, driver door lamp
switch connector D01.

(b). Use a multimeter to measure the resistance 62
between No. 12 terminal of connector C56
and No. 2 terminal of connector J06.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
J06(2) - C56(12) ≤ 2 Ω

(c). Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between No. 1 terminal of connector D01
and No. 1 terminal of connector J06.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

J06(1) - D01(1) ≤ 2 Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 4.
No >Repair the harness disconnection between connector J06 and C56, J06 and D01.

4. Check driver door step lamp switch

(a). Disconnect left front door step lamp connector J06.

(b). Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
between No. 1 terminal of connector J06
and No. 2 terminal of connector J06.
Standard voltage: (check whether there is
a short circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

J06(1) - J06(2) > 1MΩ
