62-430 DIAGNOSIS-COMBINATION METER

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step5.
No >Repair the circuit between the coolant temperature sensor connector E03 and the
engine ECU connector E01.

5. 检查 CAN 通讯线路

(a). Disconnect engine ECU connector C99
turn ignition switch "ON",check the voltage
between the grounding and No.44 & No.45
pin of A11.
Standard voltage:
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

C99 (45) - Grounding 2.5V~5V
C99 (44) - Grounding 0V~2.5V

(b). Disconnect the battery negative cable, check the resistance between No.44 and
No.45 pin of C99.

Standard resistance: 60Ω
(c). Disconnect combination meter connector, check the continuity between No.45 pin
of engine ECU connector C99 and No.16 pin of combination meter connector C23,
and the continuity between No.44 pin of C99 and No.15 pin of combination meter
connector C23.

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step6.
No >Check whether CAN communication terminal resistance A42 is intact, and repair the
corresponding CAN communication harness open circuit fault.

6. Replacement inspection

(a). Replace the same combination meter, connect the diagnostic device, check whether
the fault is eliminated.
(b). Replace the same engine ECU, connect the diagnostic device, check whether the
fault is eliminated.

Is the result normal?
Yes>Replace the corresponding combination meter or engine ECU.
No >Remove fault from other symptoms.
