3 . Normal Brake System Exhaust
(a) Connect the fluid outlet and the container with
a clear plastic hose.
(b) One mechanic fully presses the brake pedal
and holds it in position.
(c) Unscrew the discharge screw until the brake
fluid flows out. Tighten the discharge screw.
Torque: 12±2N•m
(d) Repeat Steps (b) and (c) until the air in the
brake fluid pipe is fully discharged.
(e) Clean the dirt on the discharge screw.

4 . ABS Discharge
(a) Ensure all brake fluid pipes are installed.
(b) Check whether there is any fault code stored in the ABS control unit with an analyzer.
If yes, troubleshot it subject to the fault code.
(c) Re-read the fault code and ensure there is no fault code stored in the ABS control unit.
(d) Discharge the regular brake system for the first time.
(e) Discharge the air in the ABS control unit as indicated by the analyzer. Ensure the
discharge in the ABS control unit is completed and disconnect the analyzer connection.
(f) Discharge the regular brake system for the second time.
(g) Ensure the level in the brake fluid reservoir is at the MAX mark.
(h) Perform a trial drive and ensure the air in the system is discharged.
