(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c) Disconnect the turbocharger actuator connector E05.
(d) Connect the battery negative cable.
(e) Ignition switch: ON.

04 (f) Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
between the pin 4 of the turbocharger actuator
connector E05 and the ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>To step 8.
No > Maintain or replace the harness.

8 . Check the turbocharger actuator harness

(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c) Disconnect turbocharger actuator connector E05.
(d) Disconnect connector E01 of ECM.

(e) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between the pin 1, 3, 5 of turbocharger
actuator connector E05 and the pin 55, 16,
15 of ECM connector E01 respectively.
