(d) Check the resistance of the coolant temperature 1 sensor.
Standard resistance:180Ω～160KΩ

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4.

NO> Replace coolant temperature 1 sensor.

4 . Check coolant temperature 1 sensor harness
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c) Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor connector E09.
(d) Disconnect connector E01 of ECM.

(e) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between the pin A, B of coolant temperature
1 sensor connector E09 and the pin 43, 46 of
ECM connector E01 respectively.

E09（A）- E01（43） ＜10 Ω

E09（B）- E01（46） ＜10 Ω

(f) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between the pin A, B of coolant temperature
1 sensor connector E09 and the ground
respectively.

E09（A）- ground ＞ 10 MΩ

E09（B）- ground ＞ 10 MΩ

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 5.
No > Maintain or replace the harness.
