           ENGINE OIL MIXED WITH FUEL

Fault phenomenon Diagnosis logic Possible reasons
                                                                            • Engine oil is contaminated
                                            • Engine oil
                                                                            • High pressure fuel pump
Engine oil mixed with fuel • High pressure fuel pump
      04 • Injector leakage
                                                                            • Injector leakage

           Diagnosis logic

1 . Check the engine data
           (a) Ignition switch: OFF.
           (b) Connect the diagnosis tool with the fault diagnosis connector (16 pins) on the lower
                  left of the dashboard.
           (c) Ignition switch: ON, and start the diagnostic tool.
           (d) Read the motor data shown on the diagnostic tool.
Check whether the data flow is normal or not.

           YES>To step 2.
           No >Maintenance related faults.

           2 . Check engine oil
           (a) Check the quality of engine oil is accord with standard.
           Is the inspection result normal?

           YES>To step 3.
           NO> Replace new oil.

3 . Check high pressure fuel pump
           (a) Check whether high pressure fuel pump can work normally.
           Is the inspection result normal?

           YES>To step 4.
NO> Repair or replace high pressure fuel pump.

           4 . Check the injector

           (a) Check whether the injector has phenomenon of leakage.

                DANGER
           When testing the fuel system:

           • Place a note with "Caution: Flammable" in the work area.
           • Must work in a well ventilated area and with a carbon dioxide extinguisher.
           • Smoking is strictly prohibited when working on the fuel system. Work areas
should be away from open flames and sparks.
           • Put the fuel in an explosion proof container.

           Is the inspection result normal?
