5 . Check EGR system
(a) Check whether EGR system leaks.
04 Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 6.
No >Maintenance related faults.
6 . Check the intake manifold pressure temperature sensor
(a) Check whether the intake manifold pressure temperature sensor is installed correctly.
(b) Remove the intake manifold pressure temperature sensor
(c) Check whether the sensing hole is blocked or not, and whether the resistance between
the terminals is in line with the standard or not.
(d) Check whether the intake manifold pressure temperature sensor is dirty.
(e) Ignition switch: ON, and read the data flow of the intake manifold pressure temperature
sensor shown on the diagnostic tool.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 7.
No >Clean and change the default parts.
7 . Check radiator
(a) Check whether outside radiator is blocked or not.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 8.
No >Maintenance related faults.
8 . Check fan
(a) Check whether the fan can work properly.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 9.
No >Maintenance related faults.
9 . Check cooling system
(a) Check whether the cooling system can work properly.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 10.
No >Maintenance related faults.
10 . Replace ECM
(a) Replace ECM. (Refer to "Chapter 11 Engine control system, Engine control module")
