(d) Measure the electrical resistance based on
the value in the following form.
Standard resistance (check whether there
is short circuit)

D004 (1) -R01(30) ＜ 2 Ω

Check whether the result is normal?
Yes> go to step 6
No > Maintenance or replace harness.

6 . Check harness and connector (rear windscreen defroster--ground)
(a) Ignition Switch: ON.

(b) Disconnect connector D004、D012 of rear
windscreen defroster.

(c) Measure the electrical resistance based on
the value in the following form.
Standard electrical resistance (check
whether there existent an open circuit)

Multimeter connection Standard value

D004 (1) -ground ＜ 2 Ω

D012 (1) -ground ＜ 2 Ω
