(f). Remove the engine oil cooler subassembly.
•Remove these 4 engine oil cooler
subassembly fixing bolts (arrow direction)
and the engine oil cooler subassembly.

(g). Take down the engine oil filter bracket and 12C
the cylinder block gasket ① .

(h). Remove the engine oil cooler gasket ② .

22. Check the engine oil cooler
(a). Check the engine oil filter bracket and cylinder block gasket.
• Check the engine oil filter bracket and the cylinder block gasket for wear and
breakage; if any, immediately replace them.
(b). Check the engine oil cooler gasket.
• Check the engine oil cooler gasket for wear and breakage; if any, immediately
replace it.
(c). Check the engine oil cooler subassembly.
• Check the mounting sruface of the engine oil cooler subassembly.
• Check the engine oil cooler subassembly for scratches, breakage or knock
marks; if any, immediately replace it.

23. Install the engine oil cooler
(a). Install the engine oil filter bracket and

cylinder block gasket ① .
(b). Install the engine oil cooler gasket ② .
