REMOVAL AND INSTALLTING

1. Remoe the clutch pressure plate assembly
(for the longitudinal engine)
(a). Remove these 6 clutch pressure plate
assembly fixing bolts (arrow direction),
and take down the clutch pressure plate
assembly ① and the clutch driven plate
assembly ② .

2. Check the clutch driven plate assembly
(a). Check the clutch driven plate assembly.
• Visually check the clutch driven plate for
oil dirt, burn marks or spring damages;
if necessary, clean or replace the clutch
drivenplate.
•Use the vernier caliper to measure the
clutch driven plate assembly.Standard
thickness of clutch driven plate: 8.8 ±

fuwx12C458 0.3 mm Minimum rivet depth: 1.65 ~ 2.25
mm If not in compliance with the above-
mentioned inspection criteria, replace the
clutch driven plate assembly.

3. Install the clutch pressure plate assembly
(a). Insert the clutch driven plate assembly

installer ① into the clutch driven plate
assembly ② and into the flywheel assembly.
