3. Install the knock sensor
(a). Install the knock sensor and the knock
sensor fixing bolt (arrow direction), and
tighten the bolt with the torque of 20±5 N•m.
PROMPT:
Angle of knock sensor:45 ° ±5° .

(b). Install the knock sensor connector onto the
wiring harness bracket in the arrow
direction.

(c). Reconnect the knock sensor connector
(arrow direction).

(d). Install thermostat housing subassembly & water pump unit.

4. Remove the coolant temperature sensor
(a). Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor
connector (arrow direction).
