(b). Remove the thermostat housing
subassembly & water pump unit.
(c). Use the screwdriver wrapped with protection
adhesive tape to pry out the coolant
temperature sensor clamp (arrow direction).

(d). Remove the coolant temperature sensor in 12C
the arrow direction.

5. Check the coolant temperature sensor
(a). Turn the digital multi-meter to the ohm
position, and measure the resistance of
the coolant temperature sensor using the
method shown in the figure.
