VEHICLE MAINTENNANCE - REPLACEMENT 05-47

REPLACE COOLANT

1 . Switch off the ignition.
2 . Wait until the engine cools down.

3 . Slowly open the coolant filler cap.
DANGER
Do not open the coolant filler cap before the
engine cools down to the ambient temperature. 05
Otherwise the hot coolant or steam may lead to
personal injury.

4 . Lift up the vehicle.
5 . Remove the lower engine baffle:

(a) Unscrew the retaining bolts of the small
baffles on both sides and remove the baffles.

(b) Unscrew the retaining bolts of the front baffle
and remove the baffle.
