FUEL - FUEL TANK 12-9

REPLACEMENT

CAUTION

• Ensure the working site is equipped with fire extinguishers before operating the
fuel system.
• Do not use any spark or flame source during the operation of the fuel system.

1 . Discharge the pressure in the fuel system. (Refer to "Chapter 12 Fuel - fuel
system, precaution")
2 . Disconnect battery negative cable. (Refer to "Chapter 20. Start & charge - battery,
replacement(MT/AT)")
3 . Empty the fuel tank. (Refer to "Chapter 12 Fuel - fuel tank, Drain the fuel tank")
4 . Remove the left rear wheel trim. (Refer to "Chapter 88 Exterior and Interior Trim
- Wheel Trim, replacement")
5 . Lift up the vehicle.

6 . Loose the clamp screw, and remove the
rubber hose.

7 . Remove the fixing nuts, and take down the
fuel tank bottom cover.

8 . Hold the fuel tank assembly with a tool.
