INTAKE AIR - INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY 14-5

INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY

REPLACEMENT
1 . Switch off the ignition.
2 . Remove the front bumper assembly. (Refer to "Chapter 88 Interior & Exterior
Trims - Front Bumper Assembly, Replacement")

3 . Remove the intercooler intake rubber pipe. (Refer to "Chapter 14 Intake Air -
Intake Line, Replacement")
4 . Remove the engine intake rubber pipe. (Refer to "Chapter 14 Intake Air - Intake
Line, Replacement")

5 . Screw out the A/C pipe fixing bolt, and
remove the A/C pipe.
6 . Screw out the intercooler fixing bolt.

7 . Take down the intercooler assembly.
8 . Install a new intercooler assembly.

9 . Tighten the intercooler fixing bolt.
10 . Tighten the A/C pipe fixing bolt.

11 . Install the engine intake rubber pipe. (Refer to "Chapter 14 Intake Air - Intake
Line, Replacement")
12 . Install the intercooler intake rubber pipe. (Refer to "Chapter 14 Intake Air - Intake
Line, Replacement")
13 . Install the front bumper assembly. (Refer to "Chapter 88 Interior & Exterior Trims
- Front Bumper Assembly, Replacement")
