EXHAUST - EXHAUST MANIFOLD 16-17
12 . Take off the exhaust manifold gasket.
CAUTION
• Remove the exhaust manifold gasket and
soon replace it with a new one to keep the
exhaust manifold airtight.

13 . Exhaust manifold check:
(a) Clear the carbon impurities from the contact surface of the exhaust manifold and the
cylinder head.
(b) Along diagonal a, b, check the flatness of
exhaust manifold side and cylinder head joint
plane. Replace the exhaust manifold if it is
not required.
Maximum flatness: 0.13mm
