18-20 LUBRICATION - OIL PUMP
OIL PUMP
OVERHAUL
1 . Drain the coolant . (Refer to "Chapter 05 Vehicle maintenance - Replacement,
coolant replacement")
2 . Remove the oil tray. (Refer to "Chapter 18 Lubrication - Replacement, oil tray")
3 . Drain the engine oil. (Refer to "Chapter 05 Vehicle maintenance - Replacement,
engine oil replacement")
4 . Disconnect plug of crankshaft position
sensor.

5 . Screw out the fixing bolts, disengage
crankshaft position sensor from the front
cap.
6 . Remove the engine accessory belt. (Refer to "Chapter 15 Engine mechanical
system - engine accessory belt, overhaul")
