20-4 STARTING AND CHARGING( - GENERATOR
GENERATOR
OVERHAUL
1 . Disconnect the battery negative cable (refer to“ Chapter 20 Starting and charging
- Replacement, battery”).
2 . Remove the engine accessory belt. (Refer to "Chapter 15 Engine mechanical
system - engine accessory belt, overhaul")
3 . Disconnect the generator connector.
4 . Open the generator terminals hood.

5 . Screw out the fixing nuts of generator
terminals, and remove the generator
harness.
6 . Screw out the fixing bolt of generator.
7 . Take off the generator.
