34-88 AXLE AND PROPELLER SHAFT - REAR AXLE ASSEMBLY
ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1 . Check the Gear Oil Level
(a) Unscrew the gear oil filler bolt.
(b) Check the distance between the gear oil level
and the filler bottom.
Limit: 5mm
CAUTION
Too much or too little gear oil may lead to system
fault. Drain it or top it up accordingly.
34 (c) Tighten the gear oil filler bolt.
Torque: 27 ~ 41N·m
2 . Check the Main Reducer Housing
(a) Check for crack and leakage on the main reducer housing and replace it if needed.
