AXLE AND PROPELLER SHAFT - REAR HALF AXLE 34-89
REAR HALF AXLE
REPLACEMENT
1 . PRECAUTION. (Refer to "Chapter 34. Axle & transmission shaft - rear axle
assembly, precaution")
2 . Remove the rear wheel. (Refer to "Chapter 33. Wheel & tyre - rear wheel &
tyre, replacement")
3 . Remove the parking brake. (Refer to "Chapter 36. Park Brake - parking brake,
overhaul")
4 . Remove the rear half axle.
(a) Remove the clamp, take out the park brake
cable.
(b) Screw out the fixing bolts for the rear wheel
speed sensor, and remove the rear wheel 34
speed sensor assembly.
