BRAKE SYSTEM EMISSION

DISCHARGE AIR
CAUTION

Discharge air (brake system exhaust)

Don't spill the brake fluid on the paint or your skin. If that's the case, clean it
immediately.

The normal discharge sequence: rear LH - rear RH - front RH - front LH.

1 . Top up Brake Fluid

Brake fluid model: 7104–1

2 . Master Brake Cylinder Discharge
CAUTION

It is necessary to discharge the air in the master
brake cylinder if it is disassembled or the oil cup

35 is empty.
Collect the drained brake fluid with a container,
or it may contaminate the vehicle.

(a) A mechanic shall press the brake pedal by
full force for a few times and hold it in position.
Disconnect the master brake cylinder pipe
connection.
(b) Tighten the pipe connection and release the
brake pedal as soon as the brake fluid flows
out.
(c) Repeat Steps (1) and (2) until the air in the
master cylinder is fully discharged.
(d) Clear the grease on the fluid pipe connection.
