51 (d) Turn the horn button assembly over.
(e) Disconnect the airbag harness connector.

WARNING

• Do not drag the airbag harness during
operation.

• Do not disassemble the horn button
assembly.
• When storing the horn button assembly,
ensure it faces up and don't place anything

on the horn button.

4 . Remove the Steering Wheel
(a) Unscrew the retaining nuts of the steering
wheel.

CAUTION
Store them carefully and don't lose them.

(b) Disconnect the horn harness connector.

(c) Mark the steering shaft and the steering wheel
to facilitate assembly.
CAUTION

Ensure the marks are clear and visible.
