                 REGULATING RESISTOR

                 REPLACEMENT
                 1 .    Disconnect battery negative cable. (Refer to "Chapter 20. Start & charge - battery,
                        replacement")                                                                                61

                                                           2 .    Remove the Regulating Resistor
                                                           (a)    Disconnect the regulating resistor connector.

                                                           (b)    Unscrew the regulating resistor retaining bolts.

                                                           (c)    Remove the regulating resistor.
