WIPER MOTOR ASSY ASSEMBLY

REPLACEMENT

1 . The wiper assembly returns to its position.
(a) The wiper assembly returns to its position.
• Turn the wiper switch to INT/LO/HI to active the wiper assembly.

DANGER
Do not perform this operation when the windscreen is dry, or it may cause damage.
• Turn the wiper switch to OFF so it returns to its position.

2 . Open the engine hood assembly and support it with the hood rod.

3 . Disconnect battery negative cable. (Refer to "Chapter 20. Start & charge - battery,
replacement")
4 . Remove the wiper assembly. (Refer to "Chapter 65. Wiper & washer - wiper
assembly, replacement")
5 . Remove the lower windscreen trim assembly.

(a) Remove the lower windscreen trim assembly seal.
(b) Remove the lower windscreen trim assembly.
6 . Remove the wiper assembly.

(a) Disconnect the wiper motor assembly
connector.
