(c) Connect the wiper motor assembly connector.

10 . Install the lower windscreen trim assembly.
(a) Install the lower windscreen trim assembly.
(b) Install the lower windscreen trim assembly seal.
11 . Install the wiper assembly. (Refer to "Chapter 65. Wiper & washer - wiper
assembly, replacement")
12 . Connect battery negative cable. (Refer to "Chapter 20. Start & charge - battery,
replacement")
13 . Check whether the wiper assembly returns to its position.

(a) Check whether the wiper assembly returns to its position.
• Turn the wiper switch to INT/LO/HI to active the wiper assembly.

CAUTION
Do not perform this operation when the windscreen assembly is dry, or it may cause
damage.
• Turn the wiper switch to OFF so it returns to its position.

• Check whether the wiper blade assembly is located at the lower edge of the
front windscreen assembly.
