DIAGNOSTICS - POWER REARVIEW MIRROR 04-223

Diagnostic steps

1 . Check fuse

(a) Disconnect battery negative cable.

(b) Check fuse : F28 (125A) inside fuse box,
engine compartment 04
(c) Check fuse: F11 (60A) inside fuse box of the
body

Check whether the result is normal?

Yes> go to step 2.
No> replace fuse

2 . Check harness and connector (rearview mirror heating relay-ground)
(a) Ignition Switch: ON.
(b) Pull out rearview mirror heating relay R01 inside fuse box of the body.

(c) Measure the voltage based on the value in
the following form.
Standard voltage

Multimeter connection Multimeter connection

R01(87）-ground Battery voltage

Check whether the result is normal?

Yes> go to step 3
No > Maintenance or replace harness.

3 . Check harness and connector (start and cut-off relay-ground)
