(a) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between pin 1 to pin 8 of connector C045 of
acoustics unit and the ground.
Standard resistance (check whether there
is short circuit)

C045(8) - ground ＞1 MΩ
Check whether the result is normal?
Yes> go to step 5.
No >Repair the to-ground short circuit of signal circuits of speakers.
5 . Check the signal circuits of speakers for short circuit
(a) Ignition Switch: ON.
(b) (b) Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
between pin 1 to 8 of connector C045 of
acoustics unit and the ground.

Check whether the result is normal?
Yes > Replace the CD/DVD acoustics unit
