(b) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between pin 7 of connector C044 of acoustics
unit and the ground.
Standard resistance (check whether there
is short circuit)

Multimeter connection Standard value 04

C044(7) - ground ＞1MΩ

Check whether the result is normal?
Yes > Go to step 4.
No > Replace fuse: F3 (15A), and repair the to-earth short-circuit of circuit from fuse
F3 (15A) to pin 7 of connector C044 of acoustics unit.

4 . Check the power supply and ground circuit of the audio system
(a) Ignition Switch: OFF.

(b) Disconnect the connectors C044 of acoustics
unit.
CAUTION

Be careful not to drop the acoustics unit.

(c) Ignition Switch: ON.
