(f) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance 04
between the pin A, B of coolant temperature
1 sensor connector E09 and the ground
respectively.

Standard resistance

E09（A）- ground ＞ 10 MΩ

E09（B）- ground ＞ 10 MΩ

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4.
No > Maintain or replace the harness.

4 . Replace coolant temperature sensor
(a) Replace coolant temperature sensor.
(b) Use a diagnostic apparatus to perform DTC verification procedures.
(c) Implement the steps to read sensor data stream.
(d) Check whether DTC exists.
Is the inspection result normal?

YES> Replace coolant temperature sensor.
NO >To step 5.

5 . Replace ECM

(a) Replace ECM.
(b) Use a diagnostic apparatus to perform DTC verification procedures.
(c) Implement the steps to read sensor data stream.
(d) Verify that no DTC exists and the data are normal.
