           Description

1 . The engine control module (ECM) controls the intake air throttle actuator to turn
on and off according to different operating conditions. The engine intake throttle
actuator is switched on and off by a DC motor which receive the voltage from
the ECM through the engine intake throttle actuator motor signal (+) and (-)
circuit. The motor opens the actuator when receiving the voltage from the engine
intake throttle actuator motor signal (+) circuit. The motor closes the valve when
receiving the voltage from the EGR valve motor signal (+) circuit.
