(f) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance 04
between the pin 1, 2 of the oil rail pressure
sensor connector E04 and ground
respectively.

Standard resistance

E04（1）- ground ＞ 10 MΩ

E04（2）- ground ＞ 10 MΩ

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4.
No > Maintain or replace the harness.

4 . Replace oil rail pressure sensor
(a) Replace fuel pump booster assembly,
(b) Use a diagnostic apparatus to perform DTC verification procedures.
(c) Implement the steps to read sensor data stream.
(d) Check whether DTC exists.
Is the inspection result normal?

YES>To step 5.
NO> Replace oil rail pressure sensor.

5 . Replace ECM

(a) Replace ECM.
(b) Use a diagnostic apparatus to perform DTC verification procedures.
(c) Implement the steps to read sensor data stream.
(d) Verify that no DTC exists and the data are normal.
