(c) Use a special instrument to check whether the battery is normal.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4.

NO> Replace the battery.

4 . Check the battery fuse related to the charging system
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c) Check whether fuse related to battery is normal.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 5.
NO>Replace the fuse.

5 . Check generator and its harness
(a) Start the engine.
(b) Check whether the generator can work normally.
(c) Ignition switch: OFF.
(d) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(e) Check whether the generator harness is normal.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 6.

No > Replace generator or repair related trouble.

6 . Replace ECM
(a) Replace ECM.
(b) Use a diagnostic apparatus to perform DTC verification procedures.
(c) Implement the steps to read sensor data stream.
(d) Verify that no DTC exists and the data are normal.
