04 NO>Intermittent trouble exists.

2 . Check the battery connecting harness

(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Check whether the battery connecting harness is normal.
Is the inspection result normal?

YES>To step 3.
No >Maintenance related faults.

3 . Check battery

(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c) Use a special instrument to check whether the battery is normal.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4.

NO> Replace the battery.

4 . Check intake mass flow sensor power supply circuit
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c) Disconnect intake mass flow sensor connector E07.
(d) Connect the battery negative cable.
(e) Ignition switch: ON.

(f) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between the pin 2 of intake mass flow sensor
connector E07 and the ground.
Standard voltage

Multimeter connection Standard value
pin
E07（2）-ground Battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 5.
No > Maintain or replace the harness.

5 . Check intake mass flow sensor harness
1 . Ignition switch: OFF.
2 . Disconnect the battery negative cable.
