Expansion
Integrating 233 Maple Street into the Presidio Hill School campus has always been about the faculty and the students.

In June 2012, Presidio
Hill School was o ered
a unique opportunity to
purchase the property at
233 Maple Street, adjacent
to the small play yard behind
the Washington Street cam-
pus. In four short years and with extraordinary support from parents, students, alumni, grandparents, faculty, and sta , we have completed Phase One of the Maple Street Project.
At PHS there are no constraints on the imagination or mission. Yet, before the expansion project, there were limita- tions on the physical space available to carry out our work. On April 18, 2016, students entered new class- rooms ready to work, dream and learn together in their expanded campus; the space gained by moving grades TK–2 plus the library into the new building enabled us to provide the space that bodies and minds need to grow. The Maple Street Project and its attendant Capital Campaign strength- ened the school’s ability to practice rst-rate progressive education.

Maple Street Expansion has allowed for a much quieter and focused learning space for both the lower and upper school.”
