application to contact cycle rickshaw drivers quickly and easily on
campus.

Autism Spectrum Disorder or Autism are terms used to describe a group of complex disorders of the human brain. The
occurrence of this syndrome is on the rise, from 1 in 3000 in the past to an average of 1 in 150 today (varying between
1 in 35 to 1 in 250). At present there are 20 million incidences in India of which approximately1.6 million belong to the
age group of 6-9 years. Application of weight and compression on the upper body are the most common forms of
sensory inputs provided by OTs for providing proprioception to such children. However no products are available for
this purpose in the country. Child neurologists, as well as parents and therapists are desperate to find such products
for their kids.
