AMENDMENT OF PENANG NATIONAL PARK REGULATIONS

2020

Peraturan-Peraturan Taman Negara Pulau Pinang 2020 sedang dalam proses pindaan di mana penambah-
baikan peraturan-peraturan sedia ada mengikut keperluan semasa dibuat bagi memastikan pengurusan
dan ekosistem di Taman Negara Pulau Pinang terpelihara. Pindaan juga telah dibuat ke atas Jadual Pertama
iaitu kadar kutipan ke Taman Negara.

Pindaan peraturan ini telah diangkat ke dalam Mesyuarat Majlis Penasihat Taman Negara 2020 dan telah
dibentangkan pada 19 November 2020 untuk persetujuan bersama kesemua ahli mesyuarat. Ahli mesyuarat
sebulat suara menyokong permohonan ini untuk dibawa ke peringkat seterusnya. Peraturan ini kini diper-
ingkat semakan akhir Kementerian Tenaga dan Sumber Asli (KeTSA) untuk dimuktamadkan oleh Menteri
sebelum pewartaan dibuat. Berikut adalah cadangan baru kadar fi yang telah dibentang dan mendapat
sokongan semua ahli.

The Penang National Parks Regulations 2020 are in the process of being amended where improvements in
existing regulations according to current needs are made to ensure management and ecosystems in the
Penang National Parks are preserved. Amendments have also been made to the First Schedule which is the
collection fee into the National Park.

This amendment was brought to the attention of the National Parks Advisory Council Meeting 2020 and
was tabled on 19 November 2020 to gain mutual consent of all members of the council. Members of the
meeting unanimously supported this application to be taken to the next level. These regulations are
currently in the final review stage at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (KeTSA) for the finaliza-
tion by the Minister before being gazetted. The new fees rate proposals that have been tabled and have the
support of all council members are as below:
