SENI LUKIS 'BELANG’

‘Belang’ Art Exhibition

Pameran BELANG bersempena Kempen Selamatkan Harimau Malaya 2019-2020 telah diadakan pada 8 Mac
2020 bertempat di Balai Seni Lukis Pulau Pinang. Pameran yang dijalankan dengan kerjasama Lembaga
Muzium Negeri Pulau Pinang ini telah dirasmikan oleh En. Lee Khai, Ahli Lembaga Muzium merangkap
Pengerusi Balai Seni Lukis Negeri Pulau Pinang.

Selain daripada pameran karya seni, pameran dan ceramah konservasi, pertandingan mewarna dan aktiviti
'face painting' juga turut diadakan.

The Pameran BELANG in conjunction with the Save the Malayan Tiger 2019-2020 Campaign was held on 8
March 2020 at the Penang State Art Gallery. The exhibition conducted in collaboration with the Penang
State Museum Board was officiated by En. Lee Khai, Museum Board Member and Chairman of the Penang
State Art Gallery. This exhibition with the Penang State Art Gallery, aims to promote and appreciate art and
raise public awareness on 'critically endangered' Malayan Tiger. The uniqueness of this exhibition is that all
artworks are Tiger-themed, portrayed in various mediums.

Apart from art exhibitions, conservation exhibitions and talks, coloring competitions and face painting
activities were also held.
