INTERPRETERS
Ask for someone who speaks your preferred language if you are having di culty.
MAIL
Mail and packages will be delivered to you by a hospital volunteer or sta  member. Mail received after you leave the hospital will be forwarded to your home.
MEDICINES
Please tell your healthcare team about any medicines you are currently taking. If you have made a list of your medicines, or brought your medicines from home, tell your healthcare
team. It is important to tell your healthcare team about
ALL medications you
take, even if it’s
over-the-counter,
vitamins, herbs or
supplements.
MEDITATION & CHAPEL
Located on the 0st  oor, the Medical City McKinney Chapel is open to patients, families and
friends for prayer and
meditation.
PARKING
Patient and visitor parking is located in clearly marked areas.
PASTORAL CARE
Our Pastoral Care sta  o ers spiritual support during your stay. Call Ext. 1234 or tell your nurse that you would like a visit from Pastoral Care.
PERSONAL ITEMS & VALUABLES
Please do not bring valuables to the hospital. When not in use - dentures, eyeglasses, hearing aids and personal care items should be stored at the bedside and are the responsibility of the patient. The hospital cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of personal items.
PUBLIC RESTROOMS
For everyone’s health and safety, we ask visitors NOT to use patient restrooms. PUBLIC restrooms are located throughout the hospital. Ask hospital sta  to direct you to the nearest one.
SECURITY
For your safety, all Medical City McKinney’s sta  members wear nametag identi cation badges. Should you feel uncomfortable with hospital personnel at any time, please call the nurses’ station.
Security personnel are available to assist you at any time and are happy to escort you and visitors to your vehicles. Security may be reached at ext. 4464.
