PAYMENT PROCEDURES
Payroll Checks
Employees are encouraged to authorize honeygrow to directly deposit their pay into a bank account. For those employees who wish to receive physical paychecks, they are available at each store every other Thursday after 4:30pm. After payday, you may pick up your paycheck between the hours of 2pm and 4pm. Please understand that it may be difficult for anyone to be available to obtain your paycheck during peak business hours. Final paychecks will be live checks and will be mailed to the employee’s home address.
Payroll Deductions
Your paycheck will indicate your gross earnings as well as deductions for federal and state withholding taxes, social security and Medicare taxes. Federal and state withholding taxes are authorized by you based on the information you furnished to us on form W-4. If you want an explanation of your deductions or if you wish to change them in any way please contact your General Manager or the Payroll Department.
As per state law, the store complies with court orders in connection to garnishments from employee paychecks as directed by the proper authorities. You will be notified of any court-ordered payroll deductions.
Change of Address + Personal Information
We ask that you report any address changes and other changes in your personal information to your manager as soon as possible so your year-end statement of income and deductions, form W-2, will be mailed to the correct address. You are responsible for reviewing each paycheck that you receive to ensure that your address and other personal information is properly listed, and that all deductions are being applied appropriately.
Lost Paychecks
Report lost paychecks to your General Manager or the Payroll Department. We will stop payment on the lost check and reissue you another check on the next payroll cycle. There is a $25 fee for all lost paychecks.
