BENEFITS
Paid Time Off
You work hard and earn the time to spend with family and friends. While honeygrow understands that the need to use paid leave for emergencies or illness it may not always be predictable. Where the use of paid leave is foreseeable (such as for a scheduled doctor’s appointment or for a vacation), employees are asked to make an effort to schedule the use of their leave as far in advance as possible by using the Employee Time Off Request Form. We ask that your manager approve the Time Off Request Forms at least two weeks prior to the requested leave. If you need to use leave on an unplanned basis, you are expected to follow honeygrow’s Attendance policy.
honeygrow Paid Time Off (PTO) and hg days operate on a “use it or lose it” schedule. Time not used by the end of the calendar year will not carry over to the new year. All employees start accruing time on their first day worked. hg days are flexible holidays that are granted each year, not accrued. Those that are granted hg days are eligible to take them 90 days after employment in that position. You may not have a negative balance when it comes to hg days.
Please refer to your offer letter for your specific accrual. Below is the standard accrual schedule for all positions:
Team Members/ Team Captains
• Accrue 1 hour per every 40 hours worked
• Cannot accrue more than 40 hours in one calendar year
• Eligible to take after 6 months in role
Service Managers and Kitchen Managers
