The Plan Administrator of each of the Company’s employee benefit plans has the power and authority to construe and interpret the terms of the plan, to make all factual determinations, and to amend or terminate such plans. Team members will be notified of any changes to the plans in writing.
Medical/Dental
Full-time teammembers are eligible to receive medical and dental benefits after applicable waiting periods.
Specific details on the individual benefit programs are contained in the separate summary plan descriptions (SPD) for those benefit programs in which you participate. Please contact the Benefits Administrator in the Home Office if you have any questions.
Short Term & Long Term Disability
Full-time team members become eligible for these benefits after applicable waiting periods. Details regarding the coverage may be found in each plan’s Summary Plan Description.
COBRA
You and your covered dependents may have the opportunity to continue certain health insurance benefits for a specified period of time under the provisions of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), or any applicable state law, when your group coverage for you and your covered dependents would otherwise end due to certain specified events.
Detailed information, including rights granted under COBRA, may be found in the Summary Plan Description. If you should have any questions, you may contact the Human Resource Department.
Section 125 Plan
For the benefit of our team members, honeygrow has instituted a Section 125 Plan. This plan allows team members who contribute toward the cost of their health insurance to pay on a pre-tax basis.
