          MR. ADAM ALONZO McKENZIE
Mr. Adam Alonzo McKen- zie, aka “Pop,” “Popcorn,” passed away Tuesday, Septem- ber 27, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Octo- ber 15, 2022, 6:00 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Pastor Nathaniel Jerome Kelly of Philemon Min- istries in Apopka, FL., Officiat- ing. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Adam was born in Plant City, FL on January 18, 1954, to Catherine and Willie McKenzie. He was a fun and friendly per- son, well known in Tampa. He graduated from Jefferson High School. He enjoyed playing Tunk and watching football.
Adam was preceded in death by: his parents, Catherine and Willie; sisters, Dorothy Cooper, Phelvia Williams, and Willie Jane Gillette; brothers, Frank, Willie James, and Curtis McKenzie; nephew, Andre “Mike” Williams; and nieces, Deborah Gant Brown, and Chandra Gant Brown.
Adam leaves to cherish his loving memories: his sisters, Evelyn Gant, Johnnie Mae Johnson, Shirley Fason of Jack- sonville, FL, Jeanette Rice, and Twanda Andrades of Plant City, FL; step-sisters, Lois Watson, and Alma Bowers; step- brother, Kenny Holt (Gail); lov- ing nieces, Cathleen Gant, Cynthia Rolfe, Nechole Felvia Flowers (Ron), Charlotte Daniels (Eddie), Darlene John- son, Valerie Johnson, Tammie Williams (Eric), Undra Michelle Semple, Lakesha Brothers, Erika McKenzie, An- gela Freeman, Dorothy Denise Cooper, Jennifer Cooper, and Deidra Williams; nephews, Nathaniel Jerome Kelly (Anita), Sedrick Williams, Johnny Cooper, Joseph Cooper, and Thaddeus “Rache” McKenzie; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors.

Homegoing Graveside Cele- bration for Ramaj Vatron Leon Cohen-Dixon, “RJ”, will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida with Apostle Mark T. Jones, Sr. of- ficiating.
Ramaj entered this life on March 16, 2005 in Tampa, Florida to LaKisha Anita Hopkins and Palmer Leon Cohen-Dixon. His was a life that although cut short on September 26, 2022, it was well lived and he loved and was well loved by all that he came in contact with, especially his three hearts, his daughter, Kaylani, girl- friend, Ta’Nyah and his child’s mother, Roineila.
Ramaj attended the public schools in Tampa, Florida until he reached high school, where he at- tended Pasco High School in Dade City.
He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandfather, Palmer Leon Cohen, II; his great grand- parents and other extended rela- tives who have gone before him.
Ramaj leaves to create his legacy and cherish his memories with: his beloved parents, LaK- isha (Jemeil) Hopkins and Palmer (Precious) Cohen-Dixon; 1 child, Kaylani Dior Cohen-Dixon; grandparents, Venita L. Jones, Linda Dixon (Tampa), David Hop- kins (Phoenix) and “Sugga Momma” Laurie (John) Berrien; great grandparents, Nanna and Pop-Pop Green; 6 brothers, Ra- marion Bryant, Palmer Dixon, Jr., Jamari Dixon, Palmer Cohen, III, Antonio Lewis and O’Neil Williams; 2 sisters, Ramani Bryant and Ayanni Dixon; 2 aunts,
Kiara Jones and Angelena (Darrius) Dixon; 1 uncle, David (Maria) Hopkins; 4 cousins, Syir, Da’Nyla, Da’Myia and Au’Darria; 7 great aunts; 6 great uncles; a host of other relatives and friends, in- cluding the mother of his child, Roineila Brown, Terrance Bryant and his reverse name sake Jamar Black, his 5th grade teachers from Cahoon Elementary School, Ms. James and DeMario Bruce, who were instrumental in his early life; his best friends, Joshua “KJ” Brookins, Jeremy “Turk” Evans and Louis “Mooch” Johnson, and last, but by no means least... the love of his life, Ta’Nyah Hardy.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, 1 hour prior to the serv- ice from 1:00 – 2:00 p. m. at Wil- son Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida.

Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Joseph E. Brown, “Big Joe,” who passed away on October 8, 2022, will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 12:00 noon at St. John Cathedral, 3401 E. Bishop Eddie Newkirk Way (3401 E. 25th Street) Tampa, Florida, with Pas- tor Dwight Newkirk, Senior Pas- tor, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Av- enue, Tampa, Florida.
Joseph Brown was born on May 24, 1964 in Tampa, Florida, to Joseph Brown, Jr. and Mary Helen Jacobs Brown. He was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Chamberlain High School, Class of 1982. He was a highly skilled Cement Mason and he learned his craft from his fa- ther, Joseph Brown, Jr. Mr. Brown managed his father’s con- struction company, Joseph Brown, Jr. Construction.
Joe enjoyed all things that in- volved laughter, food, family, friends and love. He was a faith- ful, devoted and lifelong member of St. John Cathedral, where he served in multiple roles humbly and with a smile.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by: his loving parents, Dea- con Joseph Brown, Jr. and Elder Mary Helen Jacobs Brown; grand- parents, Willie B. and Fannie Bell Jacobs, Joseph Brown, Sr. and Wessie Mae Brown.
He leaves to cherish loving memories of him with: siblings, Carolyn D. Nelson, Marilyn P. (Benjamin) Spruell, Derek R. Brown and Cassandra (Willie) Queen, all of Tampa, Florida; nieces, Vera Nicole Brown, Ashley M. (Jerry) Faison, De’Erika S. Brown and Destinee J. Spruell all of Tampa, Florida; nephews, Ja- cobi O. Speights and Wesley A. Dayshawn Daniel Richardson, affectionately known as “Day- Day” was born on March 8, 1998 in Brooklyn, New York, to Ju- dith Francis and Shawn Richardson. He was truly loved by all and his charismatic energy was felt whenever he was around. DayDay was naturally and physically talented, espe- cially when it came to sports; it was like second nature to him. He was a hardworking and de- voted father. His family meant the world to him.

Mrs. Rose Mary Scriven was born on February 8, 1953 in Avon Park, Florida to Frank James Watson and Lovell Grif- fin. She moved to Hurlock, Maryland and resided there until her demise.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Frank James Watson and Lovell Griffin; hus- band, O’Neil Scriven; sister, Debbie Mae Watson and niece, Sharon Denise Watson.
Mrs. Scriven leaves to cher- ish memories of her with: son, Kenneth A.
