SISTER ADELLA J. BAKER-SCREEN
A Celebration of Life service for Sister Adella J. Baker- Screen will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00 a. m. at Anointed Word Church, 1709 W. St. Joseph Street, Tampa, Florida, Senior Pastor Leroy Hayes, with Associate Pastor Thomas Hester, Sr., Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
As the sunrise introduces each new day, the birth of a new life began in the world for Sis- ter Adella J. Baker-Screen. She was born on April 23, 1968 to Wilhelmina Baker and Louis Thomas in Seffner, FL. She at- tended school in the Hillsbor- ough County System, graduating from Blanche Arm- wood High School, Class of 1986 and later received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Busi- ness Administration at Saint Leo University in 2001. Adella had a smile that would light up any room. She will be truly missed.
The Lord called Sister Adella home on Tuesday, Sep- tember 27, 2022, to come and take her rest. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Wil- helmina Baker; father, Louis Thomas; grandmother, Corine Bowden; brothers, Eric Everett, Johnny Thomas and Gary Byrd; father-in-law, Calvin Screen, Sr. and brother-in-law; Calvin Screen, Jr.
She leaves to cherish mem- ories of her with: her loving and devoted husband of 25 years, Ullah Screen; her loving and devoted son, Quincy Screen; stepsons, Gabriel and Tony Screen; sisters, Betty Thomas Cribbs (Roger) and Lindnell Everett; brothers, Terryl Lipsey, Curtis Baker (Sonia), Glenn Baker, Johnnie Latti- more, Chandler McCollin, Daryl Baker, Clint Skees

There will be a viewing on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Wil- son Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida from 3:00 – 8:00 p. m. Due to the cur- rent CDC restrictions, we are asking that you use the visitation as an opportunity to pay your final respect. For your conven- ience and safety, we have ex- tended our visitation hours.
