MR. FELIX PATTERSON
It is with regret that we an- nounce the death of our beloved patriarch, Mr. Felix Patter- son, “84”, of 417 W. Frances Av- enue, Tampa, FL 33602, who passed away, July 25th.
He was born in Shamrock, Florida on July 13, 1934. He at- tended “Don Thompson Voca- tional School” and retired as a Staff Sergeant from the USAF after serving 20 distinguished years. He spent 10 years as a baker at James A. Haley Veter- ans Hospital and 10 years as the manager at the East Lake Square Mall Game Room.
He married his high school sweetheart, Jean Patterson No- vember 30, 1973. He is survived by 7 children: Randolph Bradley, Jr.; Patricia Huff and spouse, Eddie; Doris Jean Wil- son and spouse Darnell; Jean- nette M. Bradley; Jeannell Bradley Burney; Robert Bradley and spouse, Janice; and Felicia Patterson; grand- children, Sidnie R. Patterson, Alyshia Moore, Ernest Moore, April Bradley, Christopher Reid, Corrie Reid, Africa Wil- son, Bo Wilson, Genesis Wil- son, Joy Drayton and spouse, Devron, Matthew Wilson, Dar- nell James Wilson, Faith Bur- ney, Ashley R. Burney, Deanna Bulmer and spouse, Remus, De- onna Branton and spouse, Isaac;a nd Braden Hugee; sis- ters-in-law, JoAnn Bristor, Re- becca Bell, and Linda Bell; nieces and nephews, Sherica Franklin, Shannon Wilkerson, Charlotte Jackson and spouse, Sterling, Selena Scott, Jeffery Bell and spouse, Michelle, Kim- berly Reeves, Darryl Reeves, Justin Mackey, Sean Bell and a host of 3 generations of grand- children and grand-nieces and nephews.
The mortal remains were cremated through Integrity Fu- neral Services. The family will gather at home with friends and family on Sunday, July 29, 2018, starting at 2 p. m. until 7 p. m. at 417 W. Frances Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602.
Longtime City
Employee Passes
A longtime employee with the City of Tampa passed away suddenly Thursday morning.
The Sentinel learned that Ms. Carla Lewis passed away in a local hospital.
Mayor Bob Buckhorn
said, “This morning we lost a friend, colleague and a shin- ing light here at the City of Tampa. Carla Lewis radi- ated her love for this City and inspired neighborhood lead- ers and civic activists to feel the same. She has mentored nine classes of upcoming civic leaders through the Mayor’s Neighborhood University and was the voice of our neigh- borhoods here at City Hall. We will miss her.”
