When I Sense That All Is Well
Lord, I worship You for all that You are. You are Lord over the good times as well as the difficult. Lord on the mountaintop as well as the valley. You are King of kings on the throne of my life in the calm as well as in the storm. I want t show my love for You every day by embracing You with my worship and touching You with my praise. Fill my heart with such great knowledge of You that praising You becomes a way of life. Teach me to make praise my first re- action to every situation, no matter what the situation is. I have no greater joy in life than entering into Your presence to exalt You with worship and praise every day.
As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. COLOSSIANS 2:6-7
When I Suffer Great Loss, Disappointment, Or Failure
I praise You and worship You, Lord. I love You and rec- ognize that all I have is from You. Everything I have is Yours, and I surrender it all to You for Your glory. Therefore, what- ever I have lost I release into Your hands. I praise You and thank You that this is the day that You have made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Thank You for Your grace and mercy. Thank You that You love me the way You do. Thank You that You will bring good out of my situation. No matter what has happened or will happen in my life, as long as I am alive I will sing praises to You (Psalm 146:1-2).
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. JOHN 16:33
O God, You are Lord over heaven and on earth and Lord over my life. I praise You, my precious Redeemer and King. I thank You that You are a God of redemption and restora- tion. I surrender to You all my grief or sadness over any loss, disappointment, or failure I have experienced and praise You in the midst of it. I thank You, Holy Spirit, that You are my Comforter. Lord, I thank You that You allow no suffering that is without purpose. I know that You are a good God and what You allow will be used for good. I draw close to You and put my hope in You, for with You there is mercy and re- demption (Psalm 130:7)
You number my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle; are they not in Your book? When I cry out to You, then my enemies will turn back; this I know, because God is for me. PSALM 56:8-9
